A Human Journey

15 July 2014

The challenge

Create a meaningful adventure documentary while traveling overland from Los Angeles to Rio—crossing borders, navigating unpredictable conditions, and capturing genuine human moments with no fixed production support, no controlled environments, and no retakes.

Our approach to the problem

We embraced a true field-documentary style, filming in real time as the journey unfolded.Every country, road, and community brought new stories, and we stayed flexible—shooting handheld, adapting to light, weather, culture, and opportunity to authentically capture the impact of delivering One World Futbols to kids across the continent.

The film amplified One World Futbol’s mission, inspired supporters, and highlighted the power of sport to connect communities

turning a road trip into a meaningful story that resonated far beyond the journey itself.
